STEP 98 Preload is a fire-approved electric strike designed to provide security and reliability in door environments that require extra functionality.

Certified for fire resistance up to E/EI 120 (120 minutes), this electric strike is also equipped with STEP's patented strip printing technology.

This technology allows the door to be opened even when subjected to pressure of up to 40 kg.

With a right-handed function (locked in de-energized position) and reversible design, this electric strike is suitable for both right- and left-hand doors.

It is also tamper-proof to ensure long-term function and reliability. The electric strike plate has a breaking strength of 900 kg and provides an open function even under extreme pressure conditions.

It is also easy to install and works well with access control systems and alarm systems.
