Direct-to-Card eller Retransfer?
Direct-to-Card innebär att skrivaren trycker direkt på plastkortets yta. Det är snabbt, prisvärt och passar de flesta ID-kort, medlemskort och passerkort.
Retransfer innebär att motivet först skrivs ut på en film som sedan appliceras på kortet. Det ger perfekt kant-till-kant utskrift, högre detaljnivå och bättre resultat på chipkort eller ojämna kortytor.
Behöver jag Simplex eller Duplex?
Simplex betyder enkelsidig utskrift. Det passar när du främst skriver ut framsidan av kortet.
Duplex betyder automatisk dubbelsidig utskrift. Det passar bäst om du vill skriva ut exempelvis foto och namn på framsidan samt information, streckkod eller regler på baksidan.
Glöm inte förbrukningsmaterial
För att komma igång behöver du normalt färgband, plastkort och rengöringskit. För retransfer-skrivare som Agilia behövs även retransfer-film.
