STEP 351S is a motor lock with a hook bolt and built-in split function designed to replace deadbolt locks in shell protection and thereby create secure locking around the clock. The lock is designed for a high-frequency door environment and can withstand several million openings! Meets the requirements of lock class 2A and 2B according to SSF 3522.
The lock can combine all requirements for evacuation, re-entry and accessibility, while providing the door environment with significantly higher intrusion resistance. STEP 351S is equipped with a sturdy hook bolt that really ensures that the door is locked, while a built-in split function ensures unbeatable user-friendliness.
The built-in split function enables mechanical opening from the inside without an open button. The lock has an alarm bypass (by-pass function) so that “Approved passage” can be obtained. This gives the door environment an unbeatable user-friendliness.
The lock has a double blocking where the hook bolt blocking is also blocked. The position of the latch is read by an optical sensor so you can be sure that it is really locked. The latch is completely protected from access and thus ensures protection against manipulation.
STEP 351S is equipped with FreeDrive®, our unique and patented technology that completely disengages the lock's motor and gearbox every time the door is mechanically unlocked.
Many Swedish door environments are currently equipped with locks that can handle evacuation, re-entry, fire and accessibility requirements, but at the price of low intrusion security. This includes external and internal shell protection doors in thousands of apartment buildings, hospitals, treatment homes and correctional facilities, to name a few.
With the STEP 351S motor lock, you don't have to compromise on intrusion security. Instead, you can ensure a combination of all the requirements above in one and the same lock, and also place it in a door environment that is used frequently.
