ASSA ABLOY 179B-2 is an emergency escape fitting for inward and outward swinging doors in modular profile design. Can be combined with lock housing 711 or 732 with 50 or 70 mm mandrel depth.

Properties:
  • Emergency escape fitting ASSA ABLOY 179B-2 is certified according to SS-EN 179 
  • Mounted together with lock housing 711 or 732 mandrel depth 50/70mm 
  • The lock housings can be obtained with microswitches 
  • For doors with B/C dimensions less than 25mm, at least a 3mm spacer plate 179 is recommended
  • Emergency escape fittings both inside and outside
Function:
  • The door can always be opened from the inside and outside via the escape handle
  • When choosing lock housing 711, re-housing is possible via the outside pull handle after evacuation has been carried out
  • Lock housing 732 can be combined with electric end plate
  • Authorized passage with a key is possible from both the inside and outside without the alarm indication being affected
  • The escape handle can be sealed with sealing wire
