Optex FMX-DT – Dual-Tech motion detector for demanding indoor environments

Optex FMX-DT is a professional dual technology motion detector for indoor use, developed to provide maximum security even in environments where traditional sensors risk false alarms. By combining PIR (passive infrared) with microwave technology, it requires both technologies to detect motion simultaneously for an alarm to be triggered – a method that drastically reduces the risk of false alarms.

The detector covers up to 15 meters in width with an 85° angle and has a intelligent digital analysis logic (SMDA) which adjusts sensitivity to temperature and environmental disturbances. It is also pet-resistant, making it suitable for homes with pets.

FMX-DT is particularly effective in spaces where there is heat exchange, drafts, bright light or electronics, as in garages, entrance halls, basements and technical rooms.
