Test kit for smoke detectors up to 2.7 m

Solo 1 is designed for easy and safe testing of smoke detectors in automatic fire alarm systems at low altitudes.

The kit combines extenders, detector testers and test gas cylinders, making it easy to use and transport.

Contents of Solo 1

• Detector tester Solo 330 – for smoke and CO detectors, only for use with Solo A5 and Solo C3.

• Extender Solo 101 – 1.13 m, fiberglass, light and stiff, can be combined with more Solo 101 or telescopic poles Solo 108/Solo 100 for higher testing heights.

• 3 × Solo A5 test gas bottles – smoke test, enough for about 400 tests per bottle.

Easy and safe use

1. Mount Solo 330 on Solo 101 for desired height.

2. Shake the Solo A5 test gas bottle and place it in the tester.

3. Place the cup around the detector, press lightly against the ceiling and let the gas flow out for about 1 second.

4. Wait approximately 10 seconds until the detector sounds an alarm; repeat if necessary.
