Complete test kit for smoke and heat detectors

Solo 12 is designed for efficient and safe testing of both smoke and heat detectors up to approximately 7.3 m.

The kit combines telescopic poles, extensions and test equipment with a carrying case and quiver, making it easy to transport and use on the jobsite.

Contents of Solo 12

• Detector tester Solo 330 – tests smoke and CO detectors, compatible with Solo A5 and Solo C3 test gas cylinders.

• Heat detector tester Solo 461 – battery-powered for testing heat detectors.

• Telescopic pole Solo 108 – 2.5 m, fiberglass, non-electrically conductive, light and stiff.

• 3 × Extension rods Solo 101 – 1.13 m each, can be connected together for higher height.

• Universal take-down device Solo 200 – safe removal of detectors.

• Carrying case + quiver Solo 610 – practical for transporting and storing the equipment.

• 3 × Solo A5 test gas bottles – smoke test, enough for about 400 tests per bottle.

Easy and safe use

1. Mount Solo 330 or Solo 461 on Solo 108 and any Solo 101 poles for desired height.

2. Shake the Solo A5 test gas bottle and install it in the tester.

3. Place the cup around the detector, press lightly and let the gas flow out.

4. Wait approximately 10 seconds until the detector sounds an alarm; repeat if necessary.
