Test kit Solo 5 – 6 m – Testing Smoke

Complete test kit for smoke detectors up to 6 m

Solo 5 is a complete test kit that combines the Solo 100 telescopic pole, Solo 330 test gas holder and three Solo A5 (formerly Solo A3) test gas cylinders for efficient testing of smoke detectors.

The kit is adapted for monthly and quarterly tests of fire alarm systems, making it easy to perform tests on medium-height ceilings without a ladder.

Telescopic pole Solo 100

Made of light and stiff fiberglass material, non-electrically conductive, which provides good stability at high testing heights.

The telescopic pole can be combined with 1–3 Solo 101s for a total testing height of up to approximately 9.3 m. Fits Solo and Testifire testers and downriggers.

Test gas holder Solo 330

The Solo 330 is used for functional testing of smoke and CO detectors with a diameter of up to 100 mm.

The pivoting cup makes it possible to test detectors that are not perpendicular to the floor or that are difficult to reach directly from below.

The Solo A5 test gas cylinders produce realistic smoke that activates both optical and ionizing smoke detectors.

One bottle is enough for approximately 400 tests.

Easy to use

1. Shake the Solo A5 bottle well and mount it in the tester.

2. Screw the container back on and turn ¼ turn.

3. Place the cup around the detector, press lightly against the ceiling and let the gas flow out for 1 second.

4. Wait approximately 10 seconds until the detector sounds an alarm. Repeat the short test if necessary.

5. The gas evaporates quickly, allowing the detector to be quickly reset.

Transport

The kit can be organized in the Solo 610 storage case, with space for rods, testers and test gas cylinders, simplifying transport and protecting the equipment.
