Safetron Electric Lock SL630 kit - New generation
Kit contains:
- SL630
- Connection cable C08 10m
- Frame transfer CT81
SAFETRON SL630 generation 2 is an electromechanical lock with strip pressure technology that is adapted for use with door automation.
The lock has a broad and unique area of application that covers door environments with many simultaneous functional requirements such as accessibility, inaccessibility, emergency evacuation and fire containment.
SAFETRON SL630 in generation 2 offers many completely new features, which means that SL630 and SL630 Secure are now merged into one model that is now simply called SL630.
Just like a traditional electric push button lock, the SAFETRON SL630 has one or two electrically operated push buttons, but with the difference that the deadbolt has been replaced by a deadbolt that is adapted to work with automatic door systems.
This piston is normally locked in a powerless version when the locking piston is pressed in. When electrically activated, the door can be opened when the piston bends in the direction the door moves. Adapter cable included.
Adjustable forward/reverse function
The SL630 gets a long-awaited update when the lock's push-button activation can now be easily set between forward and reverse function.
This is done through a patent-pending function selector that can be switched between two positions with a screwdriver. Nothing needs to be removed from the lock housing when changing the function.
Adjustable piston placement
The SL630 gets our patented adjustable piston placement just like the SL620 has had before, making it suitable for both older and new door environments.
The drop piston can be placed in a modern or classic position thanks to the piston holder design. The process is both simple and intuitive.
A new innovative latch bolt for door automation
The SL630 has a patent-pending new automatic door latch that we call FlipLatch.
The latch bolt is self-adjusting, which means that it follows the movement of the door but has the same shape as a traditional latch bolt.
The latch bolt's locking mechanism can, as before, be released electronically, which means that the lock can be used in doors equipped with automatic door systems and/or pull handles.
New smart built-in re-housing
The SL630 gets a new handling of re-entry through a switch and connection of the microswitch in emergency fitting 794 which now takes place directly towards the rear edge of the lock housing through the built-in contact. The switch has three positions:
- Of
No rehousing. - On (activated via emergency fitting)
The lock is set to reverse function. Connect emergency fitting 794 to the lock via quick connector, when opened by emergency fitting the lock will be put into re-entry position and be set from the outside. - Reset is done by potential-free closing of the connection cable or by turning the cylinder.
- On (activated via fire alarm)
Re-entry is activated by an external fire alarm connected to the lock housing. When the fire alarm is active, re-entry is activated at the next exit via a push button that has been set to split function. - Reset occurs when the fire alarm is reset. This setting enables split function, emergency evacuation and re-occupancy, which the market previously lacked.
Patented function selector
Switching between split right/left has never been easier. The SAFETRON SL630 has the ability to easily change the position of the push button function through its patented function selector.
The function selector has four specific positions that you can click through with the help of a screwdriver.
- Split function [mechanically unlocked inside]
- Single function [electric activation both sides]
- Build mode [mechanically unlocked both sides]
Opens despite up to 100 kg of strip pressure
SAFETRON SL630 has strip pressure technology, which means that the lock opens even if there is pressure against the door.
Molding pressure is a normal phenomenon often caused by, for example, excessive pressure in the property, crooked doors or snow/gravel getting into the door gap.
SAFETRON SL630 eliminates these problems and prevents unnecessary downtime.
The lock opens despite up to 100 kg of pressure being applied to the lock, which guarantees operational reliability even in heavy doors with very unfavorable conditions.
The built-in strip pressure mechanism in the SL630 also contributes to the mechanical opening via push. The SL630 can handle incredibly high strip pressures during mechanical opening because the pressing force required is minimal.
Emergency evacuation according to SS-EN 179
SAFETRON SL630 is certified and CE marked together with SAFETRON emergency escape accessories 793 and 794 for use in emergency escape routes according to the European standard SS-EN 179:2008.
Choose between emergency fitting 793 placed on the push button position when the lock is set to split function or emergency fitting 794 placed on the cylinder position when the door is either equipped with a pull handle or when the lock is set to single function when electronic activation is required for both entry and exit.
24 VDC: 80mA (push button) + 80mA (down piston)
