SecureX HeatSense – heat detector with 10-year battery (BS5446-2)

SecureX HeatSense is a certified heat detector according to BS5446-2, designed to detect abnormal temperature increases that may indicate a fire. It is particularly suitable for environments where smoke detectors are at risk of giving false alarms, such as kitchens, garages, workshops and dusty spaces.

In the event of a dangerous increase in temperature, a powerful siren of ≥85 dB (at 3 meters) together with a clear LED indicator, so that the alarm is immediately noticed.

The built-in battery has a lifespan of up to 10 years, making HeatSense virtually maintenance-free.


Interconnected fire protection – all units alarm simultaneously

SecureX HeatSense is part of SecureX fire system and is used together with SecureX Hub, which is the central unit of the system.

When a smoke or heat detector in the system triggers:

  • All smoke and heat detectors alarm simultaneously

  • Sirens are activated throughout the property

  • Push notifications are sent in real time to your mobile phone

The alarm can be turned off via the SecureX hub or directly in the Stonehouse Smart app.

Can multiple detectors be connected without a hub?
Absolutely. You can create your own wireless RF network where all detectors are connected. If one alarms, they all alarm – without WiFi or the internet.

Internet is only needed for mobile notifications and remote control via app.
