The Apollo 45681-284APO Xpert 7 Series Isolating Detector Assembly is designed to detect and isolate short circuits in system loops and tracks. It is equipped with a high-brightness LED that indicates the isolation state (yellow LED) and ensures that the detector remains active even under short circuit conditions.

The isolating base works by sensing short circuit faults and isolating the affected section by reducing the voltage, allowing power and signals to the affected part to be restored automatically when the fault is cleared.

This ensures that no detectors are lost in the event of a single short circuit fault. The base is compatible with Apollo XP95, Discovery and CoreProtocol devices.

It is designed for indoor use and has an operating temperature range from -20°C to +60°C.

The base can be installed on any standard base and is an important component in maintaining the integrity of the system during operation.
