The Apollo 58000-600MAR Discovery Series marine optical smoke detector is an advanced detector that uses the light scattering principle to detect smoke.

It is particularly effective for slow-burning or smoldering fires, making it perfect for marine environments where these types of fires are more likely.

The detector is designed to be unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure and has five approved operating modes according to EN54-5, making it flexible for a range of applications.
