Description:

ASSA ABLOY door closers in the DC500 series are suitable for all types of exterior, interior and fire doors, where safe and controllable closing is required. Door width up to 1100 mm. Has a Cam Motion technology that causes a slight opening resistance.

  • Adjustable shaft in height up to 14 mm provides an easier installation

  • Opening angle hinge side up to approx. 170°
  • Opening angle impact side up to approx. 120°
  • Approved according to EN1154.
  • Type approved for fire doors EI60
  • Suitable for left- and right-hung doors
  • Concealed mounting plate
  • Standard colours: Silver, white, brown, black and stainless steel.
  • RAL and NCS color can also be ordered on request
  • Dimensions: Height 64 mm, depth 57 mm, length 270 mm

Function
  • ASSA ABLOY DC500 is a cam door closer, where a sliding rail is used but the closing force is maintained.
  • The cam disc hinge also has the advantage that the opening resistance in relation to the closing force is lighter than for a normal door closer.
  • When mounting on the stop side together with sliding arm G195, opening damper A153 is recommended
