Electric strike 40 ST41 Preload Reverse 24VDC from STEP is part of STEP's Preload series, which combines minimal dimensions with very high performance for doors with normal security requirements.

The patented strip pressure technology in STEP 40 allows the electric strike to open even if the door is subjected to pressure of up to 250 kg, making it particularly useful for doors exposed to obstacles such as gravel, snow or pressure from a crooked door.

This model has a inverse function, which means that the door is unlocked in the de-energized state, making it suitable for applications where the door needs to be unlocked in the absence of power, e.g. in emergency situations.

The built-in the protective diode prevents damage to electronic components, such as code locks or card readers, in the event of possible voltage peaks.
