This model is intended for right-hung doors and fits bolt locks with 9 mm pistons in the Connect series.

With reverse function (unlocked in the event of a power failure), it is ideal for escape routes or other doors where safe evacuation is a priority.

STEP 18 is part of STEP's Secure series – a series of electric strikes designed for tough environments such as banks, prisons and other places with high security requirements.

The product is approved for security doors up to RC4 and is fire rated according to E/EI60.

The robust construction can withstand a breaking strength of a full 15 kN, and the technology guarantees function even with strip pressure of up to 500 kg.

The electric strike plate is supplied with a built-in piston and latch contact for status indication, making it easy to connect to alarm and access control systems.
