STEP 18 Secure is a high-security electric strike for right-hung doors with a 9 mm Connect bolt. With right-facing function, piston contact, fire class E/EI60 and 5 m halogen-free cable.
Electric strike STEP 18 Secure is an electric strike developed for door environments with high demands on both security and reliability.
This version is adapted for right-hung doors with bolt locks in the Connect series (9 mm piston) and offers a right-facing function that keeps the door locked in the event of a power failure.
The product is optimal for security-rated doors in, for example, banks, institutions and public buildings.
The sheet metal is tested and approved for fire resistance up to E/EI60 and has an impressive breaking strength of 15 kN.
Thanks to STEP's technology, it opens smoothly despite strip pressure of up to 500 kg.
STEP 18 comes with a built-in plunger switch and latching switch to provide full status monitoring – perfect for integration into advanced access control systems and alarm functions.
The included 5-meter halogen-free cable facilitates installation in door environments with high technical and safety requirements.
The product is also equipped with a protection diode and is tamper-proof for increased durability and protection against manipulation.
