Electric strike plate STEP 18 STEP 18 Secure from STEP's Secure series is a high-security electric strike plate designed for door environments where requirements for intrusion protection, fire safety and reliable function are combined.

This model is adapted for right-hung doors and is used with bolt locks with 12 mm pistons in the Modul series.

With its reverse function, the electric strike plate is locked when the power is cut, which provides secure locking even in the event of a power outage.

It is fire rated up to E/EI60 and approved for locking security doors up to RC4, making it suitable for use in, for example, banks, prisons and public buildings with high security requirements.

The electric strike is equipped with a piston contact and a latch contact that enables indication of whether the door is open/closed and locked/unlocked, perfect for integration into access control systems and alarm solutions.

The built-in protection diode, the anti-knock fuse and the included 5 meter halogen-free cable ensure a durable and safe installation.

With a breaking strength of 15 kN (approx. 1500 kg) and the ability to open despite strip pressure of up to 500 kg, STEP 18 offers both safety and performance in high-load door environments.
