Electric strike plate STEP 18 Secure is a fire-approved electric strike plate for bolt locks with a 10 mm piston in the Modul series, designed for security doors with high intrusion resistance and quick locking.

STEP 18 Secure offers the highest security for doors exposed to high traffic and strict security requirements.

It is approved for locking security doors up to RC4 and fire-rated up to E/EI 60, making it an ideal solution for environments such as prisons, banks or other security facilities.

With a breaking strength of 15 kN (approx. 1500 kg) and the ability to open despite a strip pressure of 5 kN (approx. 500 kg), STEP 18 Secure offers both durability and security.

The reverse function means that the door is unlocked in the de-energized position, which makes it possible to open the door quickly if necessary.

Built-in plunger switch provides indication of the door's closed/open status and lock status (locked/unlocked), making it easy to connect to access control systems and alarm systems.

STEP 18 Secure is also tamper-proof to withstand external influences and has a 5-meter halogen-free connection cable for easy installation.
