STEP 18 Secure is a fire-approved, high-security electric strike plate for bolt locks with a 12 mm piston in the Modul series, designed for security doors with high requirements for intrusion protection and fast locking.

The STEP 18 Secure electric strike offers the highest security for doors that require fast and durable locking and unlocking, making it perfect for doors with a high number of entrances and exits.

Approved for locking security doors up to RC4 and fire-rated up to E/EI 60, it provides high security for critical environments such as prisons, banks and other security facilities.

With a breaking strength of 15 kN (approx. 1500 kg) and the ability to open despite strip pressure of 5 kN (approx. 500 kg) in both forward and reverse operation, STEP 18 Secure offers both reliability and security.

The reverse function means that the door is unlocked in a de-energized state, making it ideal for applications where the door must be able to be opened quickly.

The electric strike is equipped with a built-in piston switch to indicate the door's closed/open status, making integration with access control systems and alarm systems easy. A 5 meter halogen-free connection cable is included for easy installation.
