STEP 18 Secure is a high-security electric strike with right-handed function for left-hung doors. With quick locking, 9 mm bolt function and 5 m cable, it is suitable for door environments with high demands such as security doors and escape routes.

The STEP 18 Secure electric strike is a high-security electric lock designed for environments with extreme demands on both intrusion protection and operational reliability.

It is optimized for bolt locks with 9 mm pistons within the Connect series and has a reverse function – that is, locked in the de-energized position – which provides increased security.

With a breaking strength of a full 15 kN (approx. 1500 kg), STEP 18 Secure is approved for security doors up to RC4 and fire rated E/EI60.

The heavy-duty construction is durable enough for doors with frequent use, such as in banks, prisons and other high-risk environments.

The product's integrated plunger and latch contacts enable status indication (locked/unlocked, open/closed) for connection to access control systems and alarms.

Despite a strip pressure of up to 500 kg, the opening works flawlessly. The product is also tamper-proof, equipped with a protection diode and supplied with a 5 meter halogen-free cable.
