STEP 28E Secure is a powerful and reliable electric strike that meets high requirements for safety, fire protection and function in escape routes.

It is specially adapted for left-hung doors and is used with bolt locks with 12 mm piston in the Modul series.

With its reverse function – locked in the event of a power failure – it ensures effective protection even in the event of a power outage.

This electric strike is fire rated up to E/EI 60 and is well suited for installations where emergency evacuation according to SS-EN 179 is to be combined with door automation or other safety requirements.

With a built-in piston and latch contact, it provides signals about the door status (open/closed) and lock status (locked/unlocked) to access control systems, alarm systems or other control systems.

STEP 28E has a breaking strength of over 15 kN and can withstand strip pressure of up to 500 kg, making it resistant even in demanding environments.

The stainless steel construction is tamper-proof and designed for long-term durability.
