STEP 30 Preload is a minimal electric strike with piston contact, designed to replace older simple electric strikes and create a reliable door environment.

The STEP 30 Preload electric strike is a compact and reliable electric strike that is perfect for replacing older or simpler electric strikes and providing a secure door environment, even in older door sections and recesses.

STEP 30 Preload is equipped with STEP's patented strip pressure technology, which means that the door can always open, even if it is exposed to pressure.

This makes it a reliable solution for both new and older door systems.

With a breaking strength of 5 kN (approx. 500 kg), STEP 30 guarantees both reliability and long-term durability.

It has a reversible function, where the door is unlocked in the de-energized position, which allows it to be opened quickly and easily if necessary.

The built-in piston switch provides indication of the door's closed/open status, making integration with access control systems and alarm systems easy.

STEP 30 is also knock-proof and reversible to fit both right- and left-hand doors.
