STEP 40 is an electric strike with reverse function, designed for secure day locking. Equipped with HPR® technology and a breaking strength of 1,200 kg, it can withstand high profile pressure and is factory tested for long durability.

The reverse function means that the electric strike is unlocked in the de-energized position, providing a safe and flexible solution for day locking. STEP 40 is part of STEP's Preload series and combines minimal dimensions with high quality and flexibility.

The patented HPR® technology ensures that the door opens even with a pressure of up to 250 kg. The electric strike has a factory-tested lifespan of 1,500,000 cycles, making it a reliable and long-lasting solution for both single-latch and double-latch locks. It is tamper-proof and reversible for both right- and left-hand doors and has screw holes for diagonal screws for easy installation.
