Electric strike plate STEP 40 Preload is an electric strike plate in STEP's Preload series - a series designed to combine compact format with high operational reliability and quality.

With the right-hand function (locked in the event of a power failure), STEP 40 is suitable for doors requiring secure day locking.

This electric strike is equipped with patented HPR® technology, which enables unlocking even when the door is subjected to strip pressure of up to 250 kg, ensuring reliable function even in pressurized environments.

With a breaking strength of 1200 kg and a lifespan of 1.5 million cycles, STEP 40 is designed to withstand very frequent use over a long period of time.

STEP 40 is reversible for both right and left-hand doors and fits lock housings for single and double-latch locks. It has a compact design of only 90 mm in height and screw holes in the rear edge for angled mounting.

In addition, it is tamper-proof and has a built-in protection diode, which provides both physical and electronic security.
