Electric strike STEP 40 Preload HPR is an electric strike that sets a high standard for security and reliability. It is designed for use as a day lock and combines minimal dimensions with high-quality technology. STEP 40 is part of STEP's Preload series and is tested to withstand high opening frequencies, making it a long-term and sustainable solution.

With its patented HPR® technology, the door can be unlocked even when subjected to a pressure of up to 250 kg, ensuring functionality in difficult conditions. The piston contact allows for indication of whether the door is closed or open. The electric strike has a breaking strength of 1,200 kg (approx. 12 kN) and is factory tested to withstand up to 1,500,000 cycles, ensuring long-term durability.

STEP 40 is also tamper-proof and reversible for both right- and left-hung doors, making it easy to install in different door systems.
