Electric strike STEP 48 Preload is a robust electric strike designed for spaces that are to be locked with a knob or key.

Equipped with a piston contact, it provides safe door function even at pressures of up to 40 kg.

The STEP 48 Preload electric strike is designed for use in spaces that require secure locking with a knob or key.

It can also be installed with a bolt indicator (ST4880), which enables automatic blocking of the door's access system or code lock when the lock housing's hook bolt or straight bolt has been mechanically unlocked.

This electric strike is part of STEP's Preload series and combines high quality and flexibility with minimal dimensions to fit into older door sections and recesses.

Equipped with STEP's patented strip pressure technology, STEP 48 ensures that the door can be opened even when subjected to pressure of up to 40 kg, making it a reliable choice for door systems with a high opening frequency.

With a breaking strength of 9 kN (approx. 900 kg) and the ability to open even when the door is pressed, STEP 48 provides safety and durability for both forward and reverse function.
