STEP 60 Silent is a quiet and robust electric strike with reverse function, piston contact and 5 m cable. Suitable for doors with high frequency of use where low noise level and high security are required. 12V operation and fire class E/EI120.

The STEP 60 Silent electric strike from STEP's well-known Silent series offers a unique combination of almost silent operation and sturdy construction.

This makes this electric strike particularly suitable for environments with high demands on both comfort and security, such as hospitals, schools, offices and apartment building entrances.

With reverse function – unlocked in the event of a power failure – STEP 60 is ideal for escape routes and passage doors where accessibility must always be ensured.

The electric strike plate is fire rated up to E/EI120 according to SS-EN 14846:2008 and tested to withstand strip pressure of up to 100 kg. With a breaking strength of 16 kN (1600 kg), it meets high requirements for intrusion protection.

The built-in piston contact provides an indication of the door's status (open/closed), and together with the locking contact, the electric strike can be connected to an alarm or access control system.

It is also tamper-proof, has a built-in protection diode, and comes with a 5-meter halogen-free cable for easy and flexible installation.
