STEP 60 Silent is a silent electric strike with a forward-facing function, 12V operation, piston contact and 5 m halogen-free cable. Ideal for doors with high frequency of use where sound insulation and security are crucial.

The STEP 60 Silent electric strike combines robust construction with smooth, silent operation – perfect for environments where both security and comfort are crucial.

The electric strike is part of STEP's Silent series, which is characterized by patented technology for almost silent opening and closing.

With the right-hand function – locked in a de-energized position – and an operating voltage of 12V DC, STEP 60 is particularly suitable for doors where secure closing even in the event of a power failure is critical.

It is fire rated up to E/EI120 according to SS-EN 14846:2008 and can be opened despite strip pressure of up to 100 kg. With a breaking strength of 16 kN (1600 kg), the electric strike is designed for environments with a high level of security and daily use.

The product has a built-in plunger and latch contact that provides full status monitoring (open/closed, locked/unlocked) – ideal for integration with alarms and access control systems.

It is also tamper-proof, has a built-in protection diode and comes with a 5-meter halogen-free cable.
