STEP 90 Preload 12V is a compact, fire-approved electric strike with adjustable function and piston contact.

The STEP 90 Preload HPR electric strike with adjustable function offers a flexible solution for door environments with high demands on security and reliability.

With the ability to be set as forward or reverse, it can be adapted to different applications, where it should either be locked or unlocked in the event of a power failure.

STEP 90 belongs to the Preload series and is equipped with the patented HPR® strip pressure technology that ensures opening even if the door is exposed to up to 250 kg of strip pressure.

This makes the sheet metal ideal for high-frequency use or environments where the door is often exposed to pressure.

With a piston contact, you get reliable indication of the door's status – perfect for connection to an alarm or access control system.

STEP 90 is also fire-approved up to class E/EI120 according to SS-EN 14846:2008 and has a high breaking strength of 1,200 kg.

The reversible design makes it compatible with both right- and left-hand doors, as well as lock housings in the Connect, Modul and Narrow Profile series.
