STEP 90 Preload HPR is a compact, right-facing electric strike with piston contact and high operational reliability. Fire-approved up to E/EI120 and opens despite a strip pressure of 250 kg.

The STEP 90 Preload HPR electric strike is developed for environments with high demands on safety, operational reliability and compact installation.

With a right-facing function (locked in de-energized position) and piston contact, it provides a clear status indication of the door's position - ideal for connection to an access control system or alarm.

STEP 90 belongs to STEP's Preload series and is equipped with the patented HPR® strip pressure technology, which guarantees unlocking even if the door is subjected to pressure of up to 250 kg.

This makes it a very reliable choice in door environments with a high opening frequency.

It is fire-rated according to E/EI120 and has a high breaking strength of 1,200 kg. The construction is robust and impact-resistant, while the dimensions are so small that the sheet metal can be easily installed even in tight spaces.

The product is reversible for both right- and left-hung doors, and fits lock housings in the Connect, Modul and Narrow Profile series.
