Electric strike STEP 98 Preload HPR is a fire-approved electric strike that combines high security and reliable function for doors that require both fire resistance and high intrusion resistance.
STEP 98 Preload is a fire-approved electric strike designed for spaces that are to be locked with a knob or key.
For STEP 98 Preload, it is possible to install a bolt indicator ST4880, which can be used to automatically block the door's access system or code lock when the lock housing's hook bolt or straight bolt has been mechanically unlocked.
This electric strike is equipped with STEP's patented strip pressure technology, which means that the door can always open even with pressure of up to 40 kg.
STEP 98 Preload offers both forward and reverse function (locked or unlocked in de-energized position) and is certified for fire resistance up to E/EI 120 (120 min).
The electric strike plate is also tamper-proof and reversible to fit both right- and left-hand doors.
