STEP 98 Preload is a fire-rated electric strike designed for doors that require safety features and reliable operation.

This electric strike is certified for fire resistance up to E/EI 120 (120 minutes) and is equipped with STEP's patented strip pressure technology, which means that the door can always be opened even if it is subjected to pressure of up to 40 kg.

STEP 98 Preload offers a reverse function (locked in de-energized position) and is reversible to fit both right and left-hand doors.

For additional safety, the product is equipped with a protection diode and the breaking strength is 900 kg.

The electric strike is excellent for use where high security is required, such as in offices, homes or commercial buildings.
