STEP 98 has a breaking strength of 9 kN (approx. 900 kg) and offers a reliable solution for both forward and reverse operation. It is also knock-proof and reversible to fit both right- and left-hand doors.
It is also possible to install a bolt indicator (ST4880), which makes it possible to block the door's access control system or door automation when the lock housing's hook bolt or straight bolt has been mechanically unlocked, providing additional functionality for access control systems and security solutions.
