STEP 98 Preload is a fire-approved electric strike, perfect for doors that are to be locked with a knob or key.

The product is certified for fire resistance up to E/EI 120 and has a patented strip pressure technology that ensures that the door can be opened even with pressure of up to 40 kg.

STEP 98 Preload is part of STEP's Preload range and is suitable for installation in both left and right-hand hinged doors. With its reversible feature, it can be used to suit both forward and reverse applications.

The electric strike is equipped with a piston contact that makes it possible to indicate when the door is closed/open and locked/unlocked, making it ideal for integration into access control systems and alarm systems.

The product is also tamper-proof and reversible for easy installation in different door systems.
