Emergency opener Type P is designed to be mounted on existing cylinder locks such as Assa 560. It is reversible and fits both right- and left-hung doors. Tested and approved according to SS 3523:2022, it offers reliable security with tamper protection. Fits several lock types from Assa, Abloy, Boda and Trio-Ving.

Installation
Preparation: Open the door with the existing knob (or pusher) and adjust as necessary to ensure that the door and lock operate smoothly.
Dismantling Vred: Remove the knob (for type T: remove pressure) and mark a center line. Replace the existing carrier with the included carrier.
Installation of square peg: Insert the square pin into the lock's driver and mount the mechanism on the pin. Cut the square stud according to the instructions.
Fastening of Outer sleeve: Screw the outer sleeve with the lock's cylinder ring and adjust the bottom plate to the center line.
Attachment of Drawbar: Mark and screw the upper bracket, adjust the pull arm and screw the locking screw. Press the arm of the upper bracket against the door and adjust the hex screw.
Final assembly: Assemble the pipe with the lower and upper bracket, ensure vertical position and screw.
