Emergency opener type T must be mounted on existing locks where pressure is used to open the door. For example, an intermediate door between 2 switchgear rooms that does not need to be locked. An example of such a lock is the Assa 1498. The rule is reversible, so right- or left-hung doors do not need to be specified when ordering. It is tested and approved according to SS 3523:2022.
