ASSA ABLOY 179A-2 is an emergency escape fitting for inward and outward swinging doors in modular profile design. Can be combined with lock housing 710, 721, 722 or 727 with 50 or 70 mm mandrel depth.
Characteristics

- Mounted together with lock housing 710, 721, 722 or 727 mandrel depth 50/70mm
- With emergency escape fittings on both the inside and outside
- The lock housing can be obtained with a microswitch
- For doors with B/C dimensions less than 25mm, at least a 3mm spacer plate 179 is recommended
Function
- The door can always be opened from the inside and outside via the escape handle
- When choosing lock housing 710 or 727, re-occupancy is possible via pressure from the outside after evacuation has been carried out
- Lock housing 721, 722 and 727 can be combined with electric end plates
- Authorized passage with a key is possible from both the inside and outside without the alarm indication being affected
- The escape handle can be sealed with sealing wire
