Apollo 58000-400APO Discovery Series, heat detector
The Apollo 58000-400APO Discovery Series heat detector uses a single thermistor to accurately measure the air temperature at the detector's location.
Using a resistor network, a temperature-dependent voltage output is generated that provides a linear response between 10°C and 80°C.
The detector is highly accurate and unaffected by external factors such as wind or atmospheric pressure, making it particularly suitable for use in environments that are dirty or smoky.
It has five different response modes that are approved according to EN54-5, which makes it possible to adapt the sensitivity depending on the application.
The heat detector is compatible with both XP95 and Discovery systems and can be connected to them via two-wire connections. It also has an integrated test function that makes it easy to test the detector's operation from the control panel.
