This door and window brake is used together with an Assa espagnolette (with transmission) on both regular windows and French doors. The product is called Assa 160 and has a relaxing frame bracket. All Assa 160 have a 2cm wide brake box.

Right or Left

• Left: suitable for both left- and right-hung doors.

• Right: only fits when the espagnolette has an end piston.

How to choose left or right

1. Turn the box so that the short side is facing you and you can see inside.

2. Look at which side the pin (latch plunger) sticks out.

• If the stick is on the left side, it is a left-hand variant.
• If the stick is on the right side, it is a right-hand variant.
