STEP 18 Secure is a high-security electric lock that is specifically designed for use in doors with high security requirements, such as prisons, banks and security doors.

With a breaking strength of 15 kN (approx. 1500 kg), this electric strike is built to withstand heavy strip pressure and ensure reliable locking and unlocking even under high loads.

This electric strike is approved for locking security doors up to RC4 and is fire-rated up to E/EI 60.

It is suitable for the Assa 511 hook bolt lock with a 10 mm piston and has a reverse function (unlocked in the de-energized position), which makes it particularly suitable for doors where opening and closing occurs frequently.

With a built-in piston switch that indicates whether the door is closed/open and locked/unlocked, this electric strike can be easily integrated with access control systems and alarm systems.
