The STEP 28E Secure electric strike is a high-security electric strike that combines requirements for intrusion protection, fire rating and escape capability in one robust package.

This version is intended for right-hung doors and is used together with bolt locks with 12 mm piston from the Modul series.

The plate is equipped with a reverse function – which means that it is locked in the de-energized position, an important feature in safety-rated installations.

STEP 28E Secure is certified according to fire class E/EI 60 and is often used in door environments with requirements according to SS-EN 179.

Thanks to built-in indication for door status (open/closed) and lock status (locked/unlocked), the panel can be easily integrated with access control systems, alarms or other monitoring solutions.

With a breaking strength of over 15 kN and resistance to strip pressure of up to 500 kg, this is a very durable and knock-proof solution.

The stainless steel construction contributes to a long service life even in exposed environments.

The product is both building product assessed and approved by SundaHus and is delivered complete with a 5 meter halogen-free connection cable.

The operating voltage is 24V DC, making the panel perfect for modern security systems in commercial or public buildings.
