The STEP 28E Secure electric strike is a reliable solution for doors that require both security and fire resistance, especially when evacuation and door automation are to be combined.

It is designed to be used with bolt locks with a 12 mm bolt in the Modul series and is perfect for right-hung doors.

STEP 28E Secure meets fire requirements up to E/EI 60, making it an excellent choice for doors that need to withstand fire for at least 60 minutes.

With its built-in piston contact, door status (closed/open) and lock status (locked/unlocked) can be easily integrated into access control systems and alarm systems.

STEP 28E Secure has a breaking strength of over 15 kN (approx. 1500 kg) and ensures the door opens despite a strip pressure of 5 kN (approx. 500 kg) in both forward and reverse function.

Also included is a 5 meter halogen-free connection cable for easy installation.
