STEP 28E Secure is an electric strike with right-handed function for right-hung doors. For 12 mm Modul bolt, fire class E/EI60, piston contact and 5 m halogen-free cable.

The STEP 28E Secure electric strike is a high-performance electric strike that combines security-classified functions with fire certification and the possibility of evacuation.

Developed for use with mortise and tenon locks or mortise locks in the Modul series, this electric strike provides a highly reliable locking and opening system where the push latch always guarantees the door's closure.

The model is intended for right-hung doors and has a right-handed function, which means that it is locked in the event of a power failure – a requirement in many security environments.

The electric strike is approved according to fire class E/EI60 and is compatible with emergency escape locks according to SS-EN 179, making it particularly suitable for environments with high demands on both escape safety and reliable operation.

The STEP 28E electric strike is equipped with both a piston contact and a latching contact to provide reliable feedback to alarm and access control systems.
