It can be installed with the ST4880 bolt indicator to automatically block access systems or code locks when the lock housing's hook bolt or straight bolt has been unlocked.

Thanks to STEP's patented strip pressure technology, the door can be opened even when subjected to a pressure of up to 40 kg, making it a sustainable alternative for door systems with high demands on security and frequent use.

STEP 48 has a breaking strength of 9 kN (approx. 900 kg), and it is designed to work in both forward and reverse function, as well as for right- and left-hung doors.
