ASSA Fix 160/3 är en robust window brake for windows and patio doors which is used together with ASSA/FIX espagnolette with transfer. Bromsen gör att fönster eller dörr kan stanna i ett öppet vädringsläge instead of closing or opening completely.
Den manövreras via spanjolettens handtag. När handtaget står i stängt läge skapas friktion i bromsen som håller bågen i önskat ventilationsläge. När handtaget öppnas får bågen fri rörelse. Konstruktionen gör också att bromsen slirar vid överbelastning för att skydda gångjärn och beslag.
Model 160 has detachable frame bracket and is mounted together with the frame bracket 5580 or 5550T which are purchased separately.
