ASSA Fix 160/5 is one window brake for windows and patio doors which is used together with ASSA/FIX espagnolette with transferThe brake allows the door or window to stay in an open ventilation position instead of slamming shut or opening completely.

It is operated via the espagnolette handle and creates friction in the brake rod so that the door can be held in the desired position.

Model 160 has detachable frame bracket and is mounted together with the frame bracket 5580 or 5550T which are purchased separately.

Important about left and right

The name left or right has nothing to do with whether the door is left or right-hung.
The variant is instead determined by the position of the brake lever inside the brake box.

• Bromsarm på vänster sida = vänster modell
• Bromsarm på höger sida = höger modell

Hold the brake box with the opening facing up and the short side facing you when checking this.
