Control records are required in most security facilities. The control journal must contain information about facility owners, facility managers, construction companies, etc. Other information such as type of central device, batteries, locations and time of commissioning etc. must also be included. Excerpts from the Swedish Theft Protection Association's rules SSF 130 Appendix A and B and the Alarm Act SFS no: 1983:1097 are included. Obligations and rights for the plant owner are regulated here. During the facility's lifetime, all events such as testing, triggered alarms, disconnections, error signals, service, inspections, etc. must then be recorded. The control journal must be kept in or near the central equipment.
