SecureX DoorSense Garage – wireless sensor for garage doors and industrial doors

SecureX DoorSense Garage is a robust and reliable wireless sensor developed to monitor garage doors, roller shutters, industrial doors and gates. The sensor immediately registers when a door is opened or tampered with and sends an alarm directly to SecureX Hub, which handles the alarm centrally in the system.

Via The Stonehouse Smart app You will receive real-time push notifications and a full overview of the status of the ports – regardless of whether you are on site or remotely.

Reliable protection for demanding environments

DoorSense Garage is designed to work in both private and industrial environments. It can withstand high humidity (up to 95% RH without condensation) and is designed for stable operation even in garages, warehouses and workshops where temperature and environment can vary.

The compact and discreet design makes the sensor easy to mount even on larger gates and doors, without disrupting function or appearance.

Stable communication & long battery life

The sensor communicates wirelessly via 433MHz (EV1527) with the SecureX hub and is coded for the SecureX system for secure and stable transmission. DoorSense Garage is powered by a 23A 12V battery, which provides long operating time and minimal maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
What is SecureX DoorSense Garage?
SecureX DoorSense Garage is a wireless magnetic contact for garage doors and industrial doors that monitors the door's open and closed status and sends a signal to the SecureX hub when there is a change.
What happens when the gate opens?
When the gate is opened, the magnet separates from the sensor and a signal is sent to the SecureX hub. The hub can then trigger an alarm in the system and you will receive a push notification in the Stonehouse Smart app.
Do I need a SecureX hub to use DoorSense Garage?
Yes. DoorSense Garage only works with the SecureX hub and cannot be used standalone.
Will I receive notifications on my phone?
Yes, via the SecureX hub you will receive real-time push notifications in the Stonehouse Smart app.
Does the alarm work without internet?
Yes, the sensor itself works locally with the hub. Internet is required for push notifications and remote access in the app.
What wireless technology does the sensor use?
It communicates via 433 MHz (EV1527) with SecureX protocol/encoding via the hub.
What does the sensor consist of?
It consists of a transmitter (main unit with built-in sensor), a magnetic part and an LED indicator.
Where should I mount the two parts?
The sensor part (transmitter) is mounted on the fixed part, such as the frame or floor. The magnet part is mounted on the moving part, such as the garage door.
How important is it that the parts are aligned correctly?
This is very important. The two parts must be precisely aligned opposite each other in the closed position, otherwise opening and closing may be registered incorrectly.
What battery does DoorSense Garage use?
It is powered by a 23A 12V battery.
What environments is it adapted for?
It is made for demanding environments such as garages, warehouses and workshops and can withstand high humidity up to 95% without condensation.
How do I pair the sensor with the SecureX hub?
Put the hub in pairing mode and open the garage door to separate the magnet from the sensor. The LED will flash when the signal is sent. Confirm in the app that the device is registered and name the device.
How do I know that the sensor is sending a signal?
LED lights up briefly when a signal is sent. A weak or absent LED may indicate a low battery level.
What do I do if I don't receive a notification when opening?
Make sure the sensor is connected to the hub and that notifications are enabled in the app. Also, make sure the sensor and magnet are aligned correctly.
What do I do if it won't pair?
Make sure the hub is in pairing mode and that you are standing close to the hub during the first pairing.
What do I do if the range feels short?
Place the sensor closer to the hub and avoid obstacles/metal between the devices or purchase SecureX SignalMax.
What do I do if I get irregular alarms?
Check that the device is stable and not affected by vibrations. Adjust the placement and test again.
What is the model, weight and packaging dimensions?
Model: SS010. Weight: about 50 g. Packaging dimensions: 10 × 8 × 6 cm.
What is included in the delivery?
1 pc SecureX DoorSense Garage sensor, 4 pc mounting screws and 1 pc manual.
