This door and window brake is used together with an Assa espagnolette (with transmission) on both regular windows and French doors. The product is called Assa 160S and has a detachable frame attachment. All Assa 160S have a 2cm wide brake box.

Special feature for 160S

• The 160S is equipped with a locking piston that limits opening to a safe ventilation position (max. 100 mm opening gap) for child safety.

• To open past the latch position (to the fully open position), you must insert the key and turn.

Right or Left

• Left: suitable for both left- and right-hung doors.

• Right: only fits when the espagnolette has an end piston.

How to choose left or right

1. Turn the box so that the short side is facing you and you can see inside.

2. Look at which side the pin (latch plunger) sticks out.

• If the stick is on the left side, it is a left-hand variant.
• If the stick is on the right side, it is a right-hand variant.
