ASSA Fix 160/4 Window Brake / Door Brake – Left – 452 mm

ASSA Fix 160/4 is a robust window brake for windows, balcony doors and patio doors. It is used together with ASSA/FIX espagnolette with transfer and makes it possible to keep the door or window open in a controlled ventilation mode.

When the handle is in the closed position, friction is created in the brake that holds the window or door in the desired ventilation position. When the handle is opened, the sash is allowed to move freely. The design means that the brake slips when overloaded to protect both the hinges and the fittings.

Model 160 is equipped with detachable frame bracket and is mounted together with the frame bracket 5580 or 5550T which are purchased separately.

Important about left and right

The name left or right has nothing to do with whether the door is left- or right-hung. The variant is instead determined by brake pin position inside the brake box.

• Pin on left side = left model
• Pin on right side = right model

Hold the brake box with the opening facing up and the short side facing you when checking this.
